A drug-smuggler thriving in Bangkok's criminal underworld sees his life get complicated when his mother compels him to find and kill whoever is responsible for his brother's recent death.

OUR BRIEF
To create a limited edition poster for additional promotional purposes to be used alongside the UK theatrical release.

OUR APPROACH
Our aim was to produce a poster that would stand out against other materials that would be created for ONLY GOD FORGIVES. The idea of combining the Thai tiger and the demons face which appears in the film, would work with our brief of keeping the poster more teaser in tone. We commissioned artist Randy Ortiz for the project, knowing his style would perfectly suit this conceptual approach. We worked together, experimenting a little on the way, and with Randy's undoubted talent created a finely detailed image that hints at elements within the story whilst staying true to the more abstract nature of the poster.

DELIVERY
The poster was integrated into the UK release by Lionsgate, which included competition winners prizes. The poster was printed in the UK and sold through allcityx.com
